Hide, Blur & Restore UI

Open Howdy AI and choose Blur or hide UI to change the visibility of captured elements. Identify the content by its text and location, such as a named table row or a menu item.

Hiding elements

Ask to hide a button, row, card, badge, or menu item you do not want viewers to see. Say whether you mean the text itself or its whole container.

Hide the entire customer row containing "Acme Ltd" on this screen.

Hide the "Admin settings" menu item wherever it appears in this sandbox.

Howdy AI can target the surrounding row or card as well as the text inside it. For short labels that appear in other names, specify the exact label you mean.

Blurring content

Use blur when you want to obscure content while keeping the element in the page layout.

Blur the email addresses in the Contacts table throughout this sandbox.

With Ask before editing selected, review the proposed elements and match counts, then click Accept or Decline. If too much content is included, decline the batch and specify a narrower screen or element.

These changes apply to captured page elements. To blur only part of an image, use the image editor.

Restoring hidden or blurred elements

Ask Howdy AI to reveal the content again, using the same text to identify it. For example, “Bring back the Acme Ltd row” or “Remove the blur from the contact email addresses.”

Review the restoration batch before accepting it. Restoring by matching text can clear the corresponding hide or blur effect across multiple screens.
