Write Demo Content
The “Create my demo” prompt is the fastest way to turn a raw recording into a polished interactive demo. Howdy AI examines every step in your demo, understanding what was clicked, the page context, how you reached each screen during recording, and where the flow takes viewers next. It uses that understanding of your product to write content for the entire demo.
How It Works
- Open Howdy AI and click Create my demo (or type something like “write content for my demo”)
- Howdy AI reads your demo, understands each step’s context, and writes content for the entire demo
- Each suggestion appears as a preview you can accept or decline individually
What You Get
Howdy AI writes your demo the way our team would. Because it understands your product’s UI, navigation, and workflow, it writes step content that explains the value of what is happening rather than just describing what the viewer sees. We have created and reviewed thousands of interactive demos, and those best practices are built in.
Beyond writing step content, Howdy AI also:
- Identifies steps that are just navigational clicks (like opening a menu or switching tabs) and suggests auto-progress so viewers are not forced to click through them
- Spots natural breakpoints in your demo and suggests chapter markers to help viewers navigate
You can accept or decline each suggestion independently.
Tips
- Let AI do a full pass first. Accept the initial content for all steps, then go back and refine specific ones. It is faster than perfecting each step one at a time.
- Provide context if needed. If your demo targets a specific audience or use case, mention it: “Write content for sales engineers evaluating our API.”
- Refine individual steps. After the first pass, ask “Rewrite step 5 to emphasize security” or “Make the heading on step 8 shorter.”
- Review auto-progress suggestions carefully. Some steps that look transitional may actually need annotations depending on your audience.
