Get Step Suggestions
Howdy AI can review your demo and recommend new steps to add. Based on patterns from thousands of demos, it spots gaps in the narrative and suggests where additional steps would improve engagement and clarity.
How It Works
- Open Howdy AI and click Suggest steps (or type something like “what steps should I add?”)
- Howdy AI reviews your demo and describes specific steps to add, including where they should go
- You add the steps yourself in the step editor
Howdy AI suggests what steps to add but cannot create them directly. You add new steps in the editor, then optionally ask Howdy AI to write the content for them.
Suggestions might include introductory steps that set context before an interaction, transitions that bridge different sections, callouts for key UI elements your demo currently skips over, or summary steps that recap what was shown.
Refining Suggestions
You can guide Howdy AI by being specific:
- “Suggest steps for the reporting section only”
- “What steps would help a first-time user understand the dashboard?”
- “I want to highlight the search feature, where should I add a step?”
- “Are there any pages I visited during recording that I should add steps for?”
