Enterprise SSO

HowdyGo enables enterprise grade SSO using any SAML-based authentication provider and SCIM for user account synchronization.

We support any SAML based authentication provider like Okta, Google, Microsoft Entra and more.

Setup

Follow these steps to configure SSO for your company:

1. Email our support team to request a setup link, making sure to let the team know if you would like to setup SCIM. Important: The setup link is a one-time-use link and can only be opened by one person.

2. Open the link provided by the support team. You'll be guided through the setup process step-by-step. You will also be asked if you would like to disable all other login methods for your organization i.e. Google, Microsoft and Email.

3. Set up SAML authentication by providing the required details (e.g., identity provider metadata). Ensure your identity provider supports SAML.

4. Head to the SSO login page (opens in a new tab) to test to make sure it is working.

5. (Optional) If SCIM synchronization is needed, follow the prompts in the setup link to configure it. After completing the initial configuration, contact our support team again. They will finalize the backend sync with your identity provider. Note: User data will sync automatically every hour.

That's it! You can now login via SAML and user details will be synchronized via SCIM.
